Virtual Assistance Course January 2021

The Remote Skills Academy is an impact-focused project by Livit. 

We aim to provide an opportunity for Indonesians to thrive in the new realities of work. We will guide you through remote work tools, teach you new skills, and ultimately empower you to build a successful career.

The next Virtual Assistance course is taking place from January 18th to February 5th and it is the perfect opportunity to learn the ropes of Virtual Assistance work and become a successful freelancer.

Dates & Curriculum

The Virtual Assistance is a 3-week course. 

Achieve familiarity with the virtual assistance and remote work setup. Become a proficient user of some of the most popular tools and systems involved in working online. We will mentor and guide you through remote work platforms and the tools you need to get clients and be productive as a VA.

The curriculum includes topics such as:

  • Inbox management, writing emails
  • Writing business emails, organizing files and google drive
  • Scheduling meetings and calendar
  • Basic bookkeeping
  • Meeting notes and basic reports
  • Legal and contracts
  • What is system business, types and why it is important
  • Social Media Management Lab
  • Sales funnel & professional online sales
  • Intro to email marketing
  • How to use systems to help clients grow their business
  • Website basics
  • Freelance Platforms
  • Personal branding: CV, Linkedln, and personal pitch
  • The art of negotiation
  • Time management & how to prioritize
  • How to ace a discovery call

The sessions are taught live, online, and there is ample time for questions.

Practical details

You are:  

An Indonesian citizen with basic – provicient level of English, Laptop/PC (or unlimited access to one), good to very good internet connection, intermediate PC skills.

Training sessions & workshops: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM (Central Indonesian Time).

The sessions are taught live, online, and there is ample time for questions.
Between sessions, you will be assigned homework, to practice what you learned.

The contribution for the course is:
600,000 IDR, inclusive of 10% VAT.

*If you are Indonesian, highly motivated to participate, but unemployed or otherwise unable to cover the fee, please let us know, and you will be considered for a scholarship.
