Here’s how it worked:
- Opt-in challenge: Participation was entirely voluntary.
- 30 days / 4 weeks: Each person had to try out one AI tool per week to “stay in the race” – entirely your choice what type of tool and for what purpose
- Knowledge sharing:
- We used a dedicated Slack channel for insights and progress updates.
- All participants shared mini-demos (recorded, screen-share), showcasing the main features of the tool and a verdict – will you keep using it or leave it behind?
- Contribution requirements:
- Share a minimum of 4 AI tools and thoughtful prompts with detailed feedback throughout the month.
- Actively participate in weekly updates on your progress.
- Extra Points: Participants could earn bonus points by helping teammates, answering questions, and engaging in discussions; as well as presenting at the final Demo Day.
- Prizes: Winners received an L&D budget for even more AI explorations.

Testimonials:
“The AI challenge was a unique experience for me. Coming from a work environment that used very basic tools in terms of technology, getting the opportunity to explore AI was a very interesting. What I mainly learned was that AI can be helpful in improving efficiency and can reduce time consuming tasks. AI can be very beneficial if used correctly.”
Nathan, Chief Operations Officer
“Continuous Learning” is one of our company values and by rolling out the AI challenge we walked our talk big time. Participating in this challenge was such a fun and fruitful experience for me. I learned a lot about AI trends and technology, got the chance to explore multiple AI tools and figure out what solutions will boost my productivity and the impact of my work. The result I am most proud of is creating a chatbot specialised on our PTO policy and practices. Over the next months I want to scale that small project and create a chat bot that will act as our HR helpdesk and support all of our team members with the necessary information, FAQs etc. Initiatives like this rekindles curiosity and the excitement of learning something new in all of us (regardless of ones’ seniority or title) so I am looking forward to many more initiatives like this!”
Alexandrina, Senior Management Consultant
The verdict:
The challenge was a hit! We loved the excitement, the consistent activity, and the wealth of knowledge sharing—which is continuing after the challenge.
We’ll definitely be running this again!
