It’s easy to think of company culture as something static—a set of values you pin on the wall, or a statement buried somewhere on a website. But at Livit, we see culture differently. For us, it’s alive. It evolves with our team. It’s shaped by how we show up every day, how we collaborate, learn, and support each other. And every now and then, it deserves to be celebrated.
This March, we did exactly that—with Culture Week 2025. And while a couple of months have passed, we couldn’t resist taking a moment to reflect on one of the most energizing, team-affirming weeks of the year. Because sometimes the best way to look ahead is to look back—at the moments, the laughter, and the learning that reminded us who we are when we’re at our best.
Here’s a closer look at the highlights, takeaways, and behind-the-scenes of a week dedicated to all things Livit culture.
Re-centering, Re-energizing: Culture Fest & the New Culture Deck

We kicked off the week with Livit Culture Fest—a session that was part team gathering, part deep dive, and part reintroduction to the foundation that holds us together: our culture.
This wasn’t just a policy walkthrough. It was a re-energising look at what we stand for, what we prioritise, and how we want to work—individually and together. We introduced the updated 2025 Culture Deck, offering not just refreshed language, but meaningful reminders of the values we live by:
- Continuous Learning
- Sustainable Impact
- High Performance Teamwork
- Innovative Culture
- Work & Play Synergy
- Diverse & Supportive Community
Alongside the values, we also shared clarity on:
- Our communication norms—finding the balance between deep work and timely responses
- PTO expectations and how we support rest across the year
- Responsible AI use (hint: AI helps us do better work, but it doesn’t replace our own voice—especially when it comes to reflections and feedback)
- Our L&D and wellbeing budgets for 2025, with tiered allocations and flexibility to personalise learning
This session reminded us of what Livit stands for—but more importantly, what we want to keep building together.
A Game of Values: The Culture Flashback Challenge
What’s the best way to reflect on culture? Make it a game.
Every day throughout the week, we launched a new round of Culture Flashback—a lighthearted but meaningful treasure hunt that spotlighted team members living our core values.
Here’s how it worked: each day focused on one value, and three silhouette photos were shared with clues about how those teammates embodied that theme. The challenge? Guess who they were.
It was fun. It was nostalgic. And it was deeply affirming to see real stories tied to the values we talk about all the time.
The daily themes mirrored the Culture Deck: Innovative Culture, High Performance Teamwork, Diverse & Supportive Community, Continuous Learning, Work & Play Synergy, and Sustainable Impact. Each correct guess increased your odds of winning a beverage voucher from Livit’s The Coffee Cart (and no, you didn’t have to be a coffee drinker to join in).
Beyond the prizes, Culture Flashback offered space to appreciate our teammates in unexpected ways—and to reflect on the culture that lives in daily actions, not just deck slides.

Learning, Creating, Connecting: The Masterclass Moments
A newer addition to this year’s Culture Week was Masterclass Moments, born from the idea that everyone has something to teach—and that culture deepens when we step out of our usual roles.
In the lead-up to the week, team members pitched workshop ideas based on their own interests and hobbies. The winning votes? Two very different—but equally delightful—sessions:
- Coffee Brewing 101, hosted by our very own barista Leo from The Coffee Cart, who walked us through the secrets of a great brew (plus unlimited samples).
- Microwave Mochi Baking, which proved that with a bit of sticky rice flour and a microwave, anything is possible. This class was equal parts chaos and charm, and had the team rolling dough, laughing, and yes—eating.

These Masterclass Moments reminded us that culture is also about who we are outside of our job descriptions, and what happens when we make space for creative expression and curiosity.
Recognition Bingo and a Warm Finish
To close out the week, we came together for our Q1 Company-Wide Team Building session: Recognition Bingo. A twist on the classic game, this activity challenged us to look around and acknowledge the small (and big) ways we’ve seen each other show up with care, initiative, and positivity.
From “most likely to cheer you on” to “always brings solutions,” it was a chance to reflect on the kind of team we’ve become—and the kind of team we’re still becoming.
We ended the session (and the week) not with grand speeches, but with laughter, thank-yous, and a renewed sense of why this community matters.

Culture in Action—Not Just in a Week

Culture Week 2025 wasn’t about checking off a list of events. It was about making space—for reflection, connection, and celebration. It was a reminder that when you intentionally design a workplace where people can learn, express themselves, support each other, and have fun along the way, you get more than a productive team—you build a thriving community.
From mochi baking to meaningful feedback, from value-based games to shared learning, every moment of the week reinforced something core to who we are at Livit: that culture isn’t a backdrop to the work. It is the work. It shapes how we collaborate, how we grow, and how we innovate—together.
Culture Week may be just one week on the calendar, but for us, it reflects a larger commitment to building teams that are connected, motivated, and human-centered.
