Collaboration and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. In 2024, we strengthened our position as a leading partner for B2B startups and scale-ups, working with 50+ businesses across tech-driven industries—a slight increase from the previous year. Our partnerships included a mix of returning clients and new ventures, driving cutting-edge projects in sustainable technology, SaaS development, edtech solutions, Web3 innovations, open-source AI communities, and impact investing. These collaborations highlight not only our broad expertise but also our commitment to supporting high-growth industries and tackling exciting challenges in the evolving global tech ecosystem.

- Partnering with Solusi Pragmatis Indonesia to offer Employer of Record (EOR) services
As remote work adoption grows among global companies, hiring processes are evolving. To support this shift, Livit has partnered with Solusi Pragmatis Indonesia to provide Employer of Record (EOR) services in Indonesia. An EOR acts as a third-party employer, managing payroll, compliance, and administrative tasks on behalf of companies expanding into the Indonesian market—without the need for a local entity. We marked a major milestone with our long-time partner, Think Pacific, supporting the successful launch of three high-impact projects in Bali. In their first year, these initiatives connected 270 international students with local communities and organizations, fostering contributions in education, mental health support, and social impact programs. - Expanding our collaboration with Boundless Life
After its Bali launch in 2023, Boundless Life has redefined how remote-working families live, work, and educate their children. With its coworking communities and microschools, the initiative promotes innovation, experiential learning, and global networking. In 2024, we welcomed our largest-ever Boundless Life cohort of 50 remote-working parents to Livit Hub, while also celebrating Boundless Life’s expansion into Montenegro and Spain. - Partnering with Our Year in Bali to further support remote working families
As the leading relocation service for expats in Bali, Our Year in Bali provides essential resources for families, solopreneurs, and remote workers. We teamed up to create a comprehensive guide for digital nomad families, offering key insights on living, working, and raising kids in Bali. - Onboarding The Boring Syndicate as a new ecosystem partner
We’re excited to onboard The Boring Syndicate (TBS)—a global venture builder and tech investor—as our newest ecosystem partner. Together, we’re identifying high-potential SMEs in Indonesia, supporting their growth, funding opportunities, and expansion strategies in the technology and professional services sector.
We welcomed 1,000+ coworkers in Bali
In 2024 we welcomed over 1,000 coworkers to our coworking and innovation hub, a 40% increase from 2023, with an average of 218 active users each month. We also hosted another epic team workation, where 30 participants spent two weeks immersed in collaboration and deep work at the Hub. Beyond our Bali home, they explored the island through our awesome schedule of activities, blending productivity with unforgettable experiences.
We trained almost 3,000 Remote Skills Academy students
Remote Skills Academy (RSA) is an impact-driven education platform designed to empower people across Indonesia and the world with the tools to work online, build successful remote careers, and live life on their own terms. Through diverse programs and events—many with a focus on AI—RSA covers key topics such as Virtual Assistance (VA), Web3 Community Management, Project Management, Business Management, Digital Marketing, Content Writing, and more.
In 2024 RSA soared to new heights, delivering 21 education programs to 2,888 students, of whom 29.67% participated in live programs and 71% were self-led students, while 73% were female. The year also saw the launch of three ebooks offering invaluable guidance for aspiring virtual assistants. Globally, RSA expanded its impact with cohorts in Rwanda and Belgium, while the new Super VA Program paired 19 talented interns with 12 global clients through an immersive two-month bootcamp and paid internship.
Back home in Indonesia, the Academy brought its expertise to learners through offline classes in Bali, Jakarta, and Yogyakarta, making 2024 a year of incredible growth as well as industry recognition: RSA earned Highly Commended at the inaugural Remote Excellence Awards. We launched two productivity-boosting tools
Our AI-powered Better Meetings Auditor was created to help teams reduce what we’ve long known to be the biggest killer of productivity—unnecessary meetings—and improve the effectiveness of the meetings that remain. By using a chatbot to analyze meeting habits, our auditor categorizes users and provides personalized tips to optimize their meeting schedules, enabling them to spend less time in meetings and more time on meaningful work. For a deeper dive into cutting down on time-wasting meetings, our Fewer, Better Meetings course equips you with strategies to eliminate unnecessary calls, enhance teamwork, and make every meeting count. Featuring practical methods, AI-powered tools, and interactive exercises, it empowers you to reclaim your focus and significantly boost productivity.
We helped develop and hosted the Sustainability in Action Hackathon
Livit, in collaboration with PT Why So Digital Consulting Asia, Sumati Group, and CodeCo, brought together passionate local and international innovators, sustainability professionals, and tech enthusiasts to tackle Indonesia’s most pressing environmental challenges. During the four-day event, 50 participants collaborated intensively to develop innovative solutions to key issues in Bali and across the country, such as redefining waste management practices, empowering women in sustainability initiatives, increasing access to clean water, and exploring the ethical application of AI in areas such as these.
The hackathon showcased the power of collective problem-solving, and the top three projects were awarded with continued mentorship and funding opportunities. The event marked the beginning of what is expected to become a series of similar initiatives across Indonesia.
We teamed up with Universa to hold quarterly mini-hackathons
An ambitious open-source initiative aimed at transcending traditional AI development, in 2024 we collaborated with UNIVERSA on an exciting range of hackathons exploring benevolent AI, alongside other projects and internships.
In 2024, UNIVERSA AI achieved a significant milestone by launching the Decentralised Open Source Intelligence (DOSI) framework. This groundbreaking initiative is designed to address humanity’s most complex challenges by fostering innovation and cooperation among intelligent systems. This approach ensures transparency, scalability, and adaptability while promoting open access for developers and researchers worldwide.
We welcomed new cohorts to our Immersive Entrepreneurship Academy
Our Immersive Entrepreneurship Academy encompasses hands-on sessions focusing on startup creation, entrepreneurship, project management, marketing, and remote work tools, with the ultimate goal of empowering participants to land their dream job. In 2024, 20 students from several universities and other organizations supported Livit’s growth and marketing teams, enhancing their skills in our dynamic entrepreneurial environment.
We continued to improve our work-life balance and support meaningful time off
In 2024 we shook up the typical “out-of-office” scenario by introducing the Hit by the Bus Guide (yes, you read that right). Each team member created a step-by-step manual to help someone else easily jump into their role if they need to take an unexpected break.
This approach ensures that work keeps rolling smoothly while everyone feels confident taking time off—whether it’s for a vacation, a sick day, or just a much-needed digital detox. We’ve even developed it into a team-building exercise, with workshops and collaborative sessions to ensure everyone’s guide is solid. The result? A workplace that values real time off without the stress of leaving things undone.
We hosted 17 events for Hub members
In 2024, Livit Hub energized its members with a vibrant calendar of events focused on connection, creativity, and professional development. From interactive workshops on productivity, wellness, and AI integration to engaging networking mixers and sustainability-themed activities such as the Pulau Plastik screening, we continued creating a space where members could learn, connect, and thrive.
We launched the Coffee Cart at Livit Hub
With his charming smile, friendly nature and infectious enthusiasm—not to mention his superb coffee-making skills—Leo, resident barista at our new Coffee Cart, has swiftly become an integral part of the team. Operating out of a lovingly restored and repurposed bajaj (a three-wheeled taxi commonly seen in Indonesia’s larger cities), Leo’s deliciously satisfying cafe-quality drinks join a long list of Livit’s services that enhance workplace culture and productivity. The Coffee Cart by Livit is open from Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, except on public holidays.
